Privacy
Skopia, by Seraf Inc., has no account, no server and no analytics. Seraf Inc. never receives anything from your copy of the app. This page says what that means precisely, and what does leave the device.

What we collect
Nothing. There is no sign-up, no identifier, no crash reporting and no telemetry of any kind. The app is free and there is no advertising SDK in it. We have no way to tell whether you have ever opened it.
What stays on your device
Everything the app produces. Scan results, the devices found on your network, the Bluetooth advertisements it heard, the sites and domains you added, every finding, and any saved AI reports are written to the app's own private storage and never leave the device. Uninstalling deletes all of it, and Settings can clear the history without uninstalling.
What leaves your device
Only what the check you asked for requires, and only to the host being checked:
- Your local network. The WiFi sweep opens TCP connections to addresses on the network you are already joined to. These never leave your LAN.
- Sites you add yourself. Fetched over HTTPS to read the certificate, redirects and headers. The request goes to your site and nowhere else.
- DNS lookups, through Cloudflare's public DNS-over-HTTPS service
at
cloudflare-dns.com, which sees the name being looked up. - Domain records, through the public RDAP service at
rdap.org, which sees the domain being looked up.
Bluetooth is receive-only: the app listens for advertisements and never connects, pairs or transmits.
There is no request to any server operated by Seraf Inc., because there is no such server.
If you turn on AI analysis
AI analysis is optional, off by default, and part of the paid Pro unlock. If you use it, one more thing happens: you supply your own Anthropic API key, and the analysis is sent to Anthropic to be processed.
- Your key is stored in the Android keystore, not in app preferences, and Android backup is switched off for this app so it is never copied into a cloud backup.
- It is sent to
api.anthropic.comand to no other host. We never see it, and we take no cut of your usage — Anthropic bills you directly. - What is sent to Anthropic: the task, the hosts you put in scope, and the results of the checks the analysis ran. If you paste a configuration file for review, the parts the model asks to read are sent too. Do not paste something you are not willing to send to Anthropic. Their retention policy governs it from that point, not ours.
- An analysis may only reach hosts you explicitly listed, and may only read them. There is no tool that writes, authenticates or submits anything.
Permissions, and why
- Location — Android puts the WiFi network's name, its BSSID and
its gateway address behind location permission. The app uses it only to
read those three, so it can tell one network from another. It does not read
GPS, does not track you and does not store a position. Bluetooth scanning
is declared
neverForLocation. - Nearby devices — to receive Bluetooth advertisements.
- WiFi state — to see which network you are on and sweep it.
- Notifications — to tell you when a device you have not seen before joins the network.
- Internet — for the site, DNS and domain checks above.
On Linux
The Linux build makes the same requests as the Android app, minus AI
analysis, which is Android-only. Its data stays in your home folder:
raqib.sqlite in your Documents folder and
~/.local/share/tech.seraf.raqib/. The installer at
https://skopia.sh downloads the app from Seraf Inc.'s public
package registry on GitLab, checks its SHA-256, and sends nothing about you
or your machine.
Children
This is a network tool for adults. It is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.
Payment
The app is free. The optional Pro unlock is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Google Play. Seraf Inc. never sees your card, your address or your name — only anonymous sales totals in the Play Console.
Changes and contact
If this policy ever changes, the date above changes with it. Questions: hello@seraf.dev, Seraf Inc., Canada.
